Safety
Perpetuating Japan’s Proud Tradition of “Monozukuri”
In order to reassure customers that we are delivering high-quality, safe products, Fordays has increased the visibility of our manufacturing processes.
Gifu Manufacturing Plant
Through 20 years of R&D, manufacturing, and quality control, we have refined our processes and product ingredients to create a product of the highest quality.
At our Gifu manufacturing plant, we use the pure, untainted water sourced from the surrounding pristine environment as the base ingredient for Natural DN Collagen. This water goes through a number of filtration and purification processes, as well as a deionization process; the end product being pharmaceutical grade purified water. All other ingredients contained in Natural DN Collagen are procured from reputable suppliers and must pass strict inspection criteria. Furthermore, to prevent external contamination, production takes place in a cleanroom. At our Gifu plant we proactively incorporate advanced technology into the production process. Every process from mixing onward is fully automated.

Manufacturing Process for Natural DN Collagen
Entering the cleanroom
Thorough processes for preventing foreign matter entering the cleanroom
Line workers wear cleanroom suits and pass through the air shower room to prevent foreign matter and contaminants from entering the cleanroom.
STEP 1
Weighing of Ingredients
After ingredients arrive at the factory, the quality of the various ingredients is verified and the quantity of each ingredient required for each batch is precisely measured.
STEP 2
Mixing, Filtration, and Sterilization
Ingredients are mixed in a specialized dissolution tank. The end product passes through a filtration device that captures any particles larger than 0.01mm in diameter. Finally, the liquid passes through a heat sterilization process.
STEP 3
Bottling
The empty bottles are scanned for scratches and air bubbles, then washed thoroughly. The heated Natural DN Collagen liquid is filtered again as it is injected into the bottles. Finally, an aluminum cap is fitted and the quantity of the bottle is confirmed using a scanning device.
STEP 4
Inverted Sterilization
The bottles are tipped to their sides to ensure thorough heat sterilization inside the bottle. Through this sterilization process, it is possible to ensure the quality of the unopened product through to the expiration date, which is one year from the date of manufacture.
STEP 5
Shower Sterilization, Cooling
The bottled Natural DN Collagen then passes through a shower sterilization process, with the product heated and then cooled over a short period of time. The heating and cooling processes are precisely controlled to prevent degradation of ingredient quality while still achieving a sterilization effect.
STEP 6
Water Removal, Visual Inspection
Pressurized air is used to remove excess water from outside the bottle and then a visual inspection is performed to ensure that no bottles are damaged and that products do not contain any foreign matter.
STEP 7
Labeling
A label with the expiry date and lot number is affixed to each bottle. Products are then scanned once more and checked visually to ensure the lot number is correct and the labels have been properly affixed.
STEP 8
Packaging
Products that pass the final inspection are packaged in boxes and packed into larger boxes in sets of 12 bottles and stacked on pallets ready to be shipped. The final packaging and stacking processes are completely automated.
