The Trajectory of Natural DN Collagen
The Continued Evolution of Nucleic Acid
STORY 1Over 100 Years of Scientific Research into the Benefits of Nucleic Acid Derived from Salmon Milt
Salmon milt, which refers to the testes of a male salmon, is known for its high nutritional value. Research on nucleic acids extracted from salmon milt dates back to the 1870s, long before Watson and Crick discovered the double helix structure of DNA. The nuclear substance extracted from salmon milt is called "nucleic acid." It has been continuously studied and produced by renowned researchers and manufacturing engineers.
The Faculty of Science at Tokyo Imperial University (now Tokyo University) has been at the forefront of nucleic acid research in Japan for many years. 1951, the country's first research book, "Nucleic Acids and Nucleoproteins - Physical Chemistry, Biology, Medicine," was published. This book covers various aspects of nucleic acids and nucleoproteins, including methods for extraction and purification, physical properties, and enzyme treatments. Additionally, it discusses the medical and biological implications of these molecules.
STORY 2Becoming a True Innovator: The Genesis of Natural DN Collagen
In 1999, Fordays launched the Natural DN Collagen at a time when nucleic acid supplements were almost unheard of in Japan. This supplement drink had a pleasant taste and contained water-soluble nucleic acid, which marked a new era for the dietary supplement industry. 2003, Fordays reformulated Natural DN Collagen, increasing the nucleic acid content by 2.5 times and adding zinc to improve the product's nutrient balance. In 2007, Fordays obtained a patent to protect the unique formulation of Natural DN Collagen. Later, in 2008, RNA from torula yeast was added to Natural DN Collagen to complement the DNA ingredient. Since then, Fordays has continuously improved its products to ensure the best quality for its customers.
As a leading company in nucleic acid supplementation and a "true innovator," Fordays has collaborated with the Life Science Institute to develop a broader knowledge of basic research and expand nucleic acid to create better products.
STORY 3Our Endless Pursuit of Even Great Value
The Natural DN Collagen contains nucleic acid-derived ingredients in a high concentration of water-soluble nucleic acid and nuclear protein obtained through advanced raw material manufacturing technology. With the support of prominent researchers, developers, and engineers, Fordays is collaborating with Dr. Usumi and his team at the Life Science Institute to become a true innovator in the nucleic acid supplementation industry, moving beyond just being Japan's leading nucleic acid supplement company.
Additionally, Fordays has established a manufacturing plant that allows for the production of Natural DN Collagen, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, safe products and allowing customers to witness the production process.
STORY 4The Development of Fordays' In-house Material, "coreF-Revo.1"
2019 Fordays established the Jisedai Kakusan Lab FD, implementing a trinity system comprising R&D, manufacturing, and sales.
2021, Fordays introduced the 9th-generation Natural DN Collagen, which contained in-house DNA material called "FCore-2021." This DNA material was developed by extensively testing and evaluating manufacturing conditions and functionality.
Two years later, in 2023, Fordays successfully developed the in-house RNA material, "FCore-R2023," and combined it with the current DNA material, "FCore-2021." This combination created "coreF-Revo.1," which became the basis for our 10th-generation Natural DN Collagen. Fordays gave birth to this supplement by combining the two nucleic acid contents to attain a consistent and universal quality standard.
